Note: You do not need to download this plug-in if you have ordered a CD version of Volo View. The Inventor 5 plug-in is included on the Volo View product CD.

Warning: If you download the Inventor plug-in, in the File Download dialog box, choose the Save This Program to Disk option and specify a secure folder. You may need the downloaded program later to change installation options and for silent installations.

Before You Install

Before installing the Inventor 5 plug-in, be sure to uninstall the existing Stand Alone Design Tracking (also
called Design Assistant).

To install the Inventor plug-in
===============================

1. Close all applications.

2. Make sure Volo View 2 or Volo View Express 2 is installed.

Note: You cannot use the plug-in if Inventor 4 is installed on the computer. You do not need to install the plug-in if Inventor 5 is installed on the computer.

3. Double-click the setup program for the plug-in, and follow the on-screen instructions.

5. Restart the computer.

To uninstall the Inventor 5 plug-in

1. From the Windows Start menu, choose Settings. Then choose Control Panel.

2. In the Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs.

3. In the Add/Remove Programs dialog box, select the appropriate program.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
